Genre: Romance

Release Date: December 19, 1997

Budget: $ 200,000,000

Gross: $1,835,300,000

Idea: Director had a fascination with shipwrecks, he shot actual footage of the actual titanic wrecks, he was maybe inspired by this. Titanic is a true story as well, so maybe he wanted to make people aware what happened to the ship and the love story. The love story could be linked with human loss, making the film more interesting.

The trailer did give an idea about what will happen throughout the film, it gave the audience a rough idea by showing key scenes and key lines from the original film. It start off in how the whole Titanic story has been brought up again and why is the story of the ship and the love adventure between Rose and Jack been told. There are no special effects or voice over, the trailer gives the audience more interest just by making it simple and going straight into the point.
